Roshni is a well - designed compact row villa situated in a small residential development on the outskirts of Arpora village. There is a residents’ swimming pool surrounded by lawned open plan gardens and tropical shrubs.
The villa has been finished and furnished to a high standard. There is an open plan ground floor consisting of an air-conditioned sitting/dining room and kitchen area. Off the sitting room is a bedroom with twin beds. Doors open onto the deep entrance terrace which has a cane sofa set and is ideal for relaxing on after that hard day around the pool.
The master bedroom leads onto a roof terrace which catches the sun for most of the day so if you want to sunbathe at home, you can.
Arpora is a great base for those who either want to relax, absorb the feeling of living in a Goan village and enjoy the countryside or are ‘party animals’ wanting more night life.
The countryside surrounding the village is a unique combination of river, paddy fields, salt flats and woodland which makes this area an ideal spot for birdwatching and Arpora is now featured in many “exclusive” bird watching tours. If you add that Arpora is only a 20-minute drive to the start of the magnificent unspoiled beaches of Morjim, Mandrem, Ashwen and Arambol, then you have the perfect relaxing holiday spot

Because of its central location on the coastal road, a number of restaurants have opened up in the village over the last year aimed at the tourist market. Along the Baga Bridge road the German run Lila Café (now in its 20th year) is still “the” meeting place for brunch and imaginative lunches and next door is “J & A’s Trattoria” a stylish place for fine Italian cooking. If you are feeling mellow, the “laid back” restaurants of Vagator and Anjuna are only 3 Kms away
Arpora is also the home of the legendary Saturday Night market which acts as a magnet for tourists from all over the state where amazing bargains can be had whilst listening to live bands and snacking on a huge international selection of food from the stalls

CAR AND DRIVER FACILITY
Roshni has a car and driver included in the price. So everyday you have the freedom to visit a different beach and in the evenings sample the many restaurants. Shopping is easy too - with the driver to help on where to go and what to buy. If you want to explore, your driver is a knowledgeable guide and can show you not only the usual sights but also the ones outside the well-trodden tourist routes. Enjoy a touch of luxury with your own personal driver (and let someone else cope with the confusing traffic rules).
DETAILS
The vehicle is a Maruti taxi van that carry up to 4 passengers and luggage easily and is available courtesy of Lazydays for up to 10 hours daily between 8am and 12pm with a minimum of 1 hour for lunch (hours negotiated locally with the driver).
EXTRAS
Petrol: Calculated at the rate of Rs 5 per km
Rs100: if any journey begins or ends outside the contracted hours.
Rs50 per hour: If you require the driver for longer than 10 hours this will have to be negotiated with your driver and an hourly rate of Rs50 will be payable.
Ferry charges: Rs.7 per crossing.
